This was meant originally for passing messages only, but it could obviously be extended to aid prisoners. I believe that Colonel Ride can be contacted through our Embassy at CHUNGKING.
Finally, if they could be persuaded and/or allowed to carry out this work, I would suggest that the "Cloak and Dagger" Group be approached.
The two members whom I met at SHAUKWAN Talen and McEwan I am uncertain of the exact spelling, were quite conversant with the route back to KOWLOON and were assistants to F.W. KENDALL, another member of the same Ürganisation, whose address I was told is:-

In any case, any known further escapes muzzled and the whole business carried out as unobstrusively as possible!
